Our story
It all started with a Silvana.
My grandfather Willy was a truck driver. A man with big hands, few words and unbreakable routines. One of them was his watch: a vintage Swiss Silvana with 17 jewels that he wore every single day of his life, without exception.
I grew up seeing that watch on his wrist. When he passed away, the watch came to me.
Knowing nothing about watches, I took it to a watchmaker who told me the restoration would cost more than its market value. I didn't care. It wasn't an object, it was my grandfather Willy. He was my father figure. It was memory made of metal and glass.
Watches don't keep time. They keep people.
That day, Mike Watch Trader was bornBecause I know many of you have a watch like that. One given to you by someone important. One you bought to mark a moment. Or one you simply love and want to tell its own story on your wrist.
I also learned the hard way. I was scammed with a fake watch because of my own inexperience. That lesson cost me money, but it made me better at what I do today.
